I the book Rufferella by Vaness Gill Brown and illustrated by Mandy Stanley. This book is about a dog named Ruff and her owner. Her owner asked Ruff if she wanted to be a girl.Ruff didn't like being a human much, but her owner,Diamante, taught her to be one. There were four lessons:clothes, makeup, hair style, and table manners and Diamante changed her dogs name into Rufferella and Diamante was invited to her friends birthday party and she brought her dog to.When they got there Rufferella was nervous but she played, danced, and ate and drinker and sang happy birthday to penny and Rufferella was on t.v. to.Rufferella had lots of mail and the queen wrote a letter to Rufferella saying that she and a guest can attend at the ball at the palace and when it was time to eat at the palace they had sausages and when Rufferella saw the sausages on the queen's plate then Rufferella jumped on the Queens plate and then they saw the tail and they knew that it was a dog and then after Rufferella and Diamante ran out of the palace. Yes I liked the book because it has really good illustrations. I liked the characters: Rufferella and Diamante because they are funny and awesome. I liked the illustrations because they were beautiful and detailed. I liked the word choice because it is good and easy. The conflict is person vs herself. The theme and message is what comes around goes around. In other versions of the story there is a wand, in this book there isn't. People who should read this book are children.
