ok so the basic plot is our heroine (who is an amnesiac) drops into Roman's life. she apparently managed to fall out of a plane with a parachute and almost a million dollars in cash, and with no memory of what happened. luckily for her, she stumbled into a private investigator's cabin. ok, the story line is a bit thin, and very coincidental. the relationship also seems to move a bit fast in my opinion although i don't know why. however, the relationship between the hero (daisy/holly) and roman is very sweet. it is also interesting to see the relationship between holly and her father. however, her father seems a bit out of character to me - if my daughter had been injured in a suspicious plane crash with no memory, but kept denying that she wasn't engaged to some man she apparently only recently met, i think i would be a bit suspicious of said man. especialy if i am some sort of money genius - but oh well... it makes the story more convenient for our heros :) all in all not bad, although some of the story seemed contrived to me and just a little to coincidental and such as that. however, it gets 4 stars because 1 - i can't give 3.5 stars and 2 - because it just had something special about the way the author writes. despite knowing that everything is just too contrived, she manages to draw you into her story. all in all a book i think most will enjoy - and don't forget to read royal's child :)
Thank God for Sharon Sala.

After reading Ryder's Wife, I didn't think Sala could get any better. I WAS WRONG. Whatever she writes I will read. She has a wonderful way of making it seem as if you are there in the thick of it with the characters. Thank you Sharon Sala. You are now my FAVORITE writer.
