Well done book, great guide to wildlife in our beautiful state of Colorado. Great pictures and details, easy to follow and very helpful in identification!

I bought this book at a Colorado State Park visitor's center and loved it so much, I am buying more! It covers birds, wildlife, trees, shrubs, flowers, fish and so much in addition. It has color-coded tabs, which makes quick thumbing to the right section a breeze - VERY USER FRIENDLY! And is not written too scientifically nor too juvenile. It is meant for your average outdoors person who wants to know more about what they see around them. My job takes me all over the Inter-Mountain West and this book has been the best purchase of any alpine or sub-alpine reference guide I've ever made. Many people in my office use it as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
