Rock: An Illustrated History

This book is a GREAT reference and outline to the history of blues and rock, breifly detailing such era's ranging from the 40's to influences of the 80's-early 90's. It covers such greats as Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, the beginnings of Elvis Presley, Tommy Steele, the Beatles, the Clash, breifly touching on punk, new wave, and so forth. I feel this book hold's no bias to genre's in general, and doesn't list complete GARBAGE like Britney Spears and so on. If you love and appreciate the art and history of music, you will definetely enjoy this book.(p.s.- I really don't understand the review of the person before me, referencing this book as a 'Beatles' book- yes, they talk about the Beatles, but that's only a small part of this entire book.... odd.)
