A warrior maid and the wolf warrior

Bethia Burnel is fed up of being abused and used, from her cruel aunt who used her as slave labor onto the usurper of her father's estate who only wants to marry her so he can cement his control of it. Bethia is made to with those who will not submit to him become outlaws in her kingdom, then one day they take a caravan led by Simon de Burgh who discovers that she's a woman. Simon finds the fierce amazon he's come across one of the more brave, strong, and beautiful woman he's ever seen. So much so that he decides to help her free her people and slowly falls in love with her, and Bethia finds the strong, proud, brave warrior and as they work to free her people and father she soon finds more comfort, safety, and freedom in his arms then she had thought possible. Credit to Simmons for making a nice turn on the robin hood synopsis.

NO END FOR THE DE BERGH SAGA!!

I got one of the books from an old stack when we were cleaning out my grandmothers house and have been searching for the rest of the books online. I have not been dissapointed! Everyone is as good as the last. These are books I read over and over again and still feel the anticipation and tension between the characters every time. The sad part is that without a current publisher Simmons will never be able to publish Reynold & Nicolas' stories. I hold out hope that someday the right person will want these published and will have the power to do something about it.

Love these de Burgh Men

This is the 3rd in the series of the deBurgh brothers and although, Geoffrey may always be my favorite (next to his father of course) the tale of the rough, gruff and total warrior Simon being felled at last by his Maiden - Warrior - Lover was a delight to read from the first to the very last page. Not only was it a delight to see Simon brought to his knees but it was probably the most humourous of this series so far. Okay, Ms. Simmons - I am definitely hooked - bring on the rest. Outstanding story - deserves all of these 5 staars and more!

Robber Bride

Now, I am a great fan of Deborah Simmons and I have to say that Robber Bride was great. I enjoyed it immensley. I have kept up with Deborah's writing since first book and to this day my favorite is "Silen Heart." I have to tell anyone that if you wish to read a good romance, start with Deborah Simmons. You won't be able to put the book down. She is a icon of our time and I am glad she is here to entertain all us ladies who have dreamed of Knights in Shining Armour and their lady loves.

Another Great de Burgh Book!!

This is the 3rd book in the de Burgh brother series following "Taming the Wolf" and "The de Burgh Bride." The book was very entertaining and it was great to see serious warrior Simon rubbing his chest and suffering from lovesickness!! Bethia was a great heroine - tough and strong when she needed to be, but also compassionate and caring. Ms. Simmons does a great job at interjecting just enough humor so that we see Simon as man with feelings and not just as a knight who barks commands and expects to be obeyed. The only complaint I have is that the rest of the de Burgh brothers didn't appear until so late in the story!! I hope the next book (maybe Robin's story?) brings up to date on not only Simon & Bethia, but also Dunstan & Marion and Geoff & Elene. But what ever brother is up next - I'll be sure to read all about him!!

Not Just A Prize....A WINNER Also.

She's done it again, that is to say she has thrilled us with another witty, creative and lustful tale surrounding the "Campion Bros". Robber Bride was great.... Simon, who I must confess was my least favorite brother won my heart! The story while captivating was a quick and easy read ( a one-nighter for sure). Of course, now Simmons has me absolutely panting to know who will be the next DeBurgh to bite the "bachelorhood dust"......frankly I can't wait to find out how Stephen and Reynold are to be transformed.....What A Prize!
