Risk N' Roses is about a girl, known by the nickname of Skip, who has just moved to the busy streets of New York City. At first Skip just sits on her doorsteps and observes the busy streets. As she watches she notices this one girl, who she desperately wants to become friends with because everyone on the streets likes her. She later becomes a member of a group with that one girl, Jean Persico. The name of the group is "The Dares" because in order to become a member, Jean Persico, had to think of a risky dare for each individual to accomplish. At the end Jean asks Skip's older sister, Angela who is mentally challenged, to be part of the group and is dared to do something against her will. Skip wants to stop Angela, but is afraid she will lose Jean as a friend. Is Skip going to stop Angela or is she going to keep quiet?
