Surfing the net during a lightning storm has amazing consequences for a group of teenage friends. Superhero powers are theirs at the click of a mouse! Trouble is, they don't know what the powers will... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Creative storyline with a very unique plot-line. A very relaxing read that kept my interest from start to finish.
Clever and well written

This is a kid's book, but adults can "borrow" it and be entertained as well. It's about a website that lets you download a super power of your choice, and you then select a task to complete. If you are successful, you can download another. It's the sort of premise guaranteed to capture my sons, and I believe my daughters will enjoy it too.

The story centers around four kids: Toby, Pete, Emily and Lorna. They were playing on the computer during a thunder storm. Lightning struck the power line and almost fried the computer. When Toby, Pete, Emily, and Lorna turned the computer on, they found [..]. Not reading the instructions they start clicking icons signifying different powers and get super powers. But with super heroes there are always super villains. The super villain Doc Tempest steals Toby and Lorna's mom. Now they have to be heroes and get there mom back. It's going to be a seriously good series for middle grade readers. One suggestion is to get both the Hero.com and the [...] books together. Both my kids were upset that I didn't have the second one, COUNCIL OF EVIL, when they finished RISE OF THE HEROES.

Rise of the Heroes ([..]) An exciting for a good read about 10-16 years old. The action in this book is like you are there in the midst of everything. Most of the fight with fist. My son has enjoyed this book. The book is a great action packed that will draw your children into reading. They not want to stop. My son spent two hours reading this.
My Teen Boys raved about this book

I know they thought it was based on the TV show Heroes when I handed it to them. When they realized it was not, they almost put it down. But after convincing one of the teens to read it, they could not stop raving about it. Sp they other one read it and he too LOVED it. They both liked the fact that after reading "Heros.com" they could turn over the book and read "Villains.com". A BIG thumbs up from my two teen age boys (15 and 17).
