Description from the dust jacket: Pierre le Rouge had come down from the far north to avenge his dying father, who had been fatally wounded by the terrible McGurk. But before Pierre could meet the invincible gunman, he was the victim of an accident. He would have died, buried in a snowdrift, if Jim Boone had not found him.
