What's with all the negativity?

I am 17 and I own a copy of Revolve. My friend showed her Bible magazine to a bunch of girls at a retreat and I decided to purchase a copy when I got home. I have really enjoyed reading it and I find it in no way degrading. I think people are looking too far into it. Sure there are some silly things in there (beauty tips and what guys think) but that's what makes it the magazine format. Have you seen teen magazines lately? Revolve is a great way for a teen girl to get excited to read her Bible. I find it extremely useful and enjoy reading it every night. I definitely would recommend this to all teen girls.
Wish I Were Young Again

A friend and fellow church member asked me to "look through" and see what I thought!!! Wow! If something like this had been around when I was a younger woman (teens to 20 something) I think I would have become a Christian before 30.At 38 years old, I actually opened this New Testament before bed the night before last, intending to just "check it out" I was up untill after 2 AM because I litterally couldn't put it down. The articles and comments are so relative to the issues young women face, and really had always faced. It demonstrates that Christianity is cool! That there are Godly young men out there and young women do not have to compromise or "check their religion at the door".I also beleive that out curiosity young men (perhaps brothers of the readers) will pick up this bible and will learn and grow from the experience! As a woman who is going into ministry, I know that this will be an incredible tool in helping young women build relationships with God and Others.
The information in this book changed my life.

This book was given to me by a friend at a time in my life that was in drastic need of change. What I found on these pages really helped change my life. A peace and joy entered my life that I never experienced before even though I had all the "things" anybody could want. They just weren't enough. This book helped me to understand God's word and have it mean somthing in my life. It helped me to start each day at peace. I have given this book to many people and their life has also been changed.

It is a bible with the entire New Testament and the related old Testament. It provides different pastors' messages and suggestive questions, which help us to understand the words of God. Also, it stimulates our thoughts and encourages us in a spiritual way. Pastors messages teaches us how to apply the bible in the real life. It is an excellent book especially for young Christian. Personally, I am a busy person, I spend 15 to 45 mins every morning for my quiet time and this bible helps me to get close to God easily. Each 2-page reading has a section of New Testament, a section of Old Testament that supports the New Testament reading, an "insight" section to help you understand what you just read, and an action point section to help you reflect and put to use what you just read. This is the book that got me to read the New Testament for the first time - and I'm now on my third reading! I liked it so much, I bought a case of these books to give to my friends and aquaintances that are looking for a straight-forward and structured way to read the bible on a daily basis.
