#2 IN THE TRILOGY OF THE FALCON BROTHERS - DEKE FALCON

Rex Falcon has asked his brother, Deke, the P.I. to find Elsie Timmons for her mother, Deanna. His wife, Hailey and Elsie were childhood friends. Both were traumatized by the "Hatchet Murders" of the Lyle family when they were about 4 years old. Elsie Timmons has returned to Wildcat Manor when Hattie Mae Hodges left the orphanage to her. The trouble was that Elsie had left when she was about 15 just after having her baby. She had tried to save little ten year old Torrie from Howard Hodges abuse. Sheriff Andy Bush wouldn't let Elsie reopen any files concerning Wildcat Manor. He wants her out of town. Dr. Morty Mires provided health care for the pregnant teens that showed up at the Manor. He didn't show any records of any deaths at the Manor. His sister, Eleanor Cross and Donna Burgess had adopted babies from the orphanage and they didn't want the adoptions exposed. Burt Thompson was the lawyer that handled the adoptions. Just what was he up to? Who else knew what was going on? By the time Deke showed up in Wildcat, Tennessee, Elsie appeared to be under attack by some unknown person. Wildcat Manor appeared ready to prove that it was haunted. Did someone know Elsie from previous years? A theme running through these stories is the affinity the Falcon brothers have with the birds of prey. Raptors as they are referred to, Eagles, Falcons, Hawks etc. -- They are always ready to rescue any injured bird and heal it and set it free, if possible. Rex, Deke, and Brack all consider themselves as loners, needing no one - that is until they meet their mate for life. It almost seems like a shock to them to think they can fall in love. The ladies are at first centered on their own problems [independance, stubbornness] distrustful and wary yet soon fascinated by these strong, protective, very masculine men. These are very strong, interesting plots yet they slow down to take time out for seduction [in the middle of danger?] I could have enjoyed with it just stating that they spent a very hot night of passion and get on with the story. Not that it would satisfy all readers. I just like more danger and intrigue and maybe them on the run and barely escaping. Very Definitely Recommended - PMS -- Excellent trilogy.
