Iron Thunderhorse is an outstanding writer

Although written over a decade ago, "The Return of the Thunderbeings" exhibits the intensive and comprehensive style that has become the trademark of Iron Thunderhorse. As he explains in his "Quinnipiac r-dialect Language Guide,"Each language is a strand in the fabric of world cultural survival. Each culture has its own unique way of seeing and explaining the world around it...and this is known as their ethos or world-view." In "Return of the Thunderbeings," Thunderhorse uses his multilingual fluency to trace shamanism in a comparative analysis across the globe. His Native American traditionalist values prompted him to strive for understanding among nations in order to fulfill one of his duties as culture bearer - the protection of Mother Earth, without whose health persons of all races and all nations will suffer.

Iron Thunderhorse is a great man and writer

Iron Thunderhorse has written "Return of the Thunderbeings" with great wisdom gleaned from his Quinnipiac ancestors and mentors from his homeland in the Northeastern US, among whom were Slow Turtle/John Peters, Touching Leaves Woman, and other names readily recognized in traditional Native American circles. Iron has risked his life to protect the traditions handed down from his ancestors over the past 10,000 years because they risked their lives to preserve those traditions for him. When the reader approaches Iron's words with an open mind, the validity and morality of these traditions become obvious. Iron Thunderhorse is a great scholar and a great leader, as well as a dedicated human rights activist. He has been wrongfully convicted of crimes that he would never commit. His father, also named William Coppola, was an Italian immigrant but Iron was born in New Haven, CT, to a full-blooded Quinnipiac mother and was trained by his Quinnipiac great-aunt (a traditional leader) and other Quinnipiac family members from a very early age. No one endures what Iron has endured in order to be a "wanna-be" - Iron Thunderhorse is genuine. I've known him for ten years and I have read a multitude of his writings. The nay-sayers are misinformed and scared off by the bad publicity. We who know him best know the truth - he is genuinely traditionalist Native American and what he writes is the truth as he sees it. Just because what he writes is beyond the reader's comprehension at times only means that his IQ of 180 has enabled him to grasp ideas that we are not ready to fully understand. Few of us fully understand Einstein or Stephen Hawking, either. Same principle. It is worth the effort to study what Iron has written. On the other hand, the co-author's words are easily comprehensible to the average reader - so, if you don't fully comprehend what Iron has written, you can easily understand LeVie's contribution. Reading this book is a win-win situation.
