Peter McGoldrick has hit on many good points about retail marketing. From the impact of simple ideas, to remembering that retail is in effect, an entertainment experience. However, we should never let this point confuse us with the importance of generating a buying desire by a consumer. In the end it's always all bout the sales numbers! I consult 500 retailers a year..they all should read this book! Nice job Peter!
