It covers the basics, but maybe could be a little more detailed.

It was good to look at a book that gave examples of resumes (including CVs) and cover letters specifically for medical professionals, but some of the background information could have been more detailed. The chapters and cover letter examples went over the basics that you would find in any resume guide. The book really didn't go into much detail about how to sell yourself or how to find jobs compared to other books -- but maybe it's not supposed to. The reason I would recommend this book is that it gives more than the one token "medical" resume that more general guides have and shows examples for a wide range of medical careers, including physician.
I highly recommend this book to anyone in medicine.

Being in the medical field myself, I found this book to be easy to use, self-explained and good aid in making yourself more marketable. May students, graduated, getting ready to graduate and alumni use this book at my school to create our refine their resumes.
