I worked for Chef Ward for a little over a year as his pantry chef. His food is amoung the best in Dallas, if not the world. Having personally tasted Chris Ward's culinary delights I was anxious to dig into his wonderful recipes. The book itself is beautiful and the personalization of the recipes with stories, tidbits and hints make an entertaining read. The recipes are laid out well and easily followed. Ingredients are not far out or extravagant. Grandma's Spaghetti Gravy and Chocolate "Falling Down" Cake make you want to slap yourself! Buy the book, cook, eat, enjoy!
