As a native Houstonian that has been transplanted to Georgia, I thought I knew the ins and outs of the heart of Texas. Before returning for a visit, I reviewed this book and found out that there was much to learn! I had fun learning about the new spots to hit and reminiscing about old favorites. This well-written guide really does cover everything you need to know.

This book does a great job of putting just the right information you need right at your fingertips (and right on your dashboard as you're driving around town.) The neighborhood descriptions were very helpful, and something that I couldn't find anywhere else. The "where to go" and "what to do" ideas were great as well. I haven't found a better, more concise guide on how to make Houston your home.
