However, when I read the book, I was amazed and delighted to discover that, indeed, I looked at love and romance in a new and far more optimistic way. No longer was this topic one to be held on awe; rather, it was an area of life which, perhaps more than any other, could and should be filled with lightness, joy, confidence and optimism. How authors Leslie and Jimmy Caplan accomplish this is part of the wonderful mystery of this moderate length, but expansively rich book about the recipes we really can cook if we but pick up the utensils.
