Ready to be read by all parents to their young children

It's hard to decide which is more charming, the text or illustrations. Ms. Whitman's talents are apparent in both. The clear, bright colors are sure to appeal to young children, while the fine nuances of texture will charm adults. The lilting verses cleverly introduce children to color in their environment, using some rather unusual examples. This is far from an ordinary read-aloud book about color. Families are likely to treasure it for years.
