Raising Kids Gods Way

We did a study for 3 months in our connection group at church on this book and it was a great tool. We are all in our early 30's to late 40's and really got a lot out of it. I would highly recommend it to anyone that has kids.

It is great to see that there are some who are fighting the good fight. Even for those who have studied scripture well and heard many sermons on the subject, this book pulls together the great wisdom handed to us through scripture on how to raise our children and gives parents practical ways of training our children to make good choices in life. At some point, every parent has to let go and this book helps parents raise our children so that we can let go of our children and be confident that they will continue to walk on the right path.

The book was great!! I think people don't like the book because it causes them to look at what they're doing wrong as a parent. I recommend this book to all my friends. I read the book five years ago, and I have good kids. I even took in a troubled teen, and it worked with her as well as my own. She turned out great. I would pray before I would listen to all the negative advice. Read for yourself!!!

I found this to be a great help. In a society where many parents know very little about raising responsible, accountable children, this book gives very practical advice. There is no suggestion of a heavy handed approach. The results of the "let them raise themselves" approach surrounds us and confuse the very people who object to teaching children with secure boundaries when they are young. Highly recommended for first time parents.
