Book Overview

Will Image ever behave herself on the track? Melanie Graham's dream has come true -- a chance to ride Perfect Image in her first race. Image has been running great, and it looks like they may even have a shot at winning some big-time races. But Melanie and the black filly's trainers have forgotten how unpredictable Image can be. When she's disqualified from her first race, they wonder if she has the temperament to race at all. How will Melanie prove...

The Best!

This book was soooo good! I've been reading the Thoroughbred books since the beginning and there hasn't been one this good since Wonder's Champion. This book brought back the old spirit that some of the recent books haven't had. Its so wonderful to read about people and horses who aren't perfect. Its so nice that Christina and Melanie actually have control of there own horses now. This book is the kind that leaves you feeling content and happy after you finish it!

GREAT!

I've always liked the Thoroughbred series and have been reading it from the beginning. However, some of the more recent books lacked the spirit that really made you give a care whether the horse pulled through or not. The reason you ran to the bookstore as soon as you finished the book, hoping the next one would be there. But the books about Melanie & Image really brought it back, and they are more like Asleigh & Wonder than Christina & Star are. Christina often seems kinda fake to me, and Melanie brings a sense of realism to the books-a girl who's NOT perfect(but trying)This book is one of the best and it deserves every star!

The best book out of the whole series !

Racing Image in my opinion is the best book out of the whole series. I really hope that Melanie and Jazz get a relationship going, I mean it seems like Jazz already likes Mel and I think they would make the cutest couple ! This book was so life like I mean it seems how it would actually be on the racetrack and if I were in melanies position. I would definettly recommend this book. It is for littler kids I must admit but I still read the series and i love it!

FANTASTIC BOOK!I LOVE IT!

This book was absolutly awesome! I would reccomend it to anyone. When Fredricka says that she is having money problems and has to sell horses,Melanie panicks. She says that unless the money comes, she has to sell Image. They enter Image in a race. She spooks and gets first but also gets disqualified.Fredricka says she can't keep Image but Melanie knows that this special filly can win.Fredricka explains that she can no longer keep Image and she might have to sell him to Brad Townsend.Meanwhile,Fredrickas place is turning into a very messy and smelly place and most of her workers have quit. Then Melanie's Dad tells her that she can keep Image since her father's company wanted to make an investment. Then her father announces that a popular rock star has half ownership,Melanie freaks. Then her father explains and everything turns out fine.In the next race,Image wins. This book was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone of any age.

Really really awesome!!!

Racing Image was a great book. I've always liked Melanie the best out of all the thoroughbred characters. She trains and races Image and when everything looks like it's fallen apart everything comes back together again. There's also little blurbs about Star and Christina which will eventually lead up to another book about Christina but the next two books are about Cindy. Cindy's Desert Adventure and Cindy's Bold Start I think. So for all the people who were missing her (not me she's kind of a jerk) she's coming back. This is a great book I'm sure anyone who likes horse racing will enyoy this book thoroughly.P.S HORSES RULE!
