Not so hasty, previous reviewer

I picked up this book by accident at my daughter's college bookstore after a major life crisis involving a relative that seems similar to the type of person this man is describing. Many scenes were familiar, such as the hotel incident where he didn't speak the language but she did. The big question would be did she do it on purpose!! The information in the back got me started on the road to unravelling a lot of things that happened where my relative was involved. The information was invaluable. It was the first clue I had that this person I had just cut out of my life could be a sociopath, malignant narcissist, or a serial bully, aside from the "borderline" theory. As to the comments by a previous reviewer, don't be so hasty to judge until you've lived through it. Truth is indeed stranger than fiction. The author, though anonymous, is sticking his neck out by telling his story, and he deserves a lot of credit for doing it.

Compelling, insightful story

Facinating story. Helpful to those in pain from rejection and abandonment
