I like this book. I went through it the same day I received it in the mail. There are some good ideas in this book. I like the marketing section too. Very colorful, the photos are excellent.

I love to purchase books about card creating just so that I can get ideas. Often times I enjoy changing the ideas up to fit my own style. This book hit the mark when it comes to ideas of all kinds. The descriptions were very easy to read. I would recomend this book to all levels of card makers. Anyone who purchases this book, won't be disapointed at all.

Personally I thought the book was really helpful. But then I am of the type to be greatly inspired by seeing what others are doing. I enjoyed looking at the beautiful full color photographs. I am also a scrapbooker, so I owned the majority of the tools mentioned, and for what I didn't own, it was easy to substitute something else. I like the way Julie's books are designed. They are sectioned by subject and quite easy to follow. She gives simple directions with photographs to guide you. I think the ideas are plentiful and are really great for a beginner to intermediate card maker.

I have Julies first book and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. It is ok with lots of ideas but I found it very similar to her first book. Having said that it is good book for those just starting out.
