Push On is an interesting story of how a widow decides what she should be doing in her life. She has the opportunity to marry two different men and the reader learns the process of how she decides. Those who lose their spouses in death, have to deal with the memories of their deceased spouse and then when remarrying must deal the memories of their present spouse which is included in this story. It also details how blended families can learn to get along when the father of one family and the mother of another get married. This is often quite difficult and very often is the cause of divorce, but the story shows how the main characters, Beverly and her future husband deals with this difficulty. The story also shows the workings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. For those who have never attended this church, you learn how leadership in a congregation (ward) works and how members of this church live their lives within gospel priniciples. The reading is theraputic and entertaining and I enjoyed the book very much.
