The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?

I bought 3 copies for a bible study I am starting with my mom and sister and 2 out of the 3 have A LOT of writing in them. It’s in pen so I can’t erase it. How can we do a study and write our notes with writing all over it?

I knew that if I didn't have the workbook and dvd I would never get through this program, so in that respect it has been very helpful to me. Having the video lesson each week and then the daily reading is giving me a structured approach to this course that I would have missed otherwise. I am on day 14 now and am excited to be working through something I wish I had done when I was 13.

To have a meaningful life, one needs a plan, and to work this plan. These books all related to the Purposeful Life are excellent reading for the person seeking to examine their life, past, present and future. I read a chapter a week, study it, reflect on the message, and talk with friends who are doing the same. When my life made a turn so different than in the past, I needed more guidance in setting goals and learn how to discover my reason for being on this earth. This is a definate read for gaining positive ideas, questions and thoughts about what could make a life meaningful and give one the feeling of being alive!

Item arrived in good shape and without any scratches on the disc. The plastic case was cracked at the upper right corner but protected the disc from damamge when the impact occurred. This DVD is pivotal for a class covering the study of the Purpose Driven Life. I have found that people in today's world do not take the time to read so this study format presents the fundamentals of the book in a clear, concise manner and, when used with the study guide, gives the viewer a deeper understanding of their purpose in this life.

The Purpose Driven Life Video Study Guide is a very good addition to the Study, 40 Days of Purpose, which our Church is doing right now. I was dissappointed that this product (seller's fault, not the author or publisher of the product) did not come with the DVD. I simply did not read the fine print to realize I was not receiving the DVD with the guide. That fact aside, I am glad to have this guide to follow, as opposed to the condensed version the church is passing out for small groups to follow in their weekly meetings for study. This guide provides many thought provoking questions and insight into Rick's sessions from the DVD.

This is a great tool to have with the DVD. The study guide gives practical idea on how to start a small bible study group. It also has a clear guideline on how to take advantage of the DVD, it also includes a personal assessment and practical advise for your personal spiritual walk and provides good suggestions on how to lead others on the similar spiritual path.
