Punished

I was able to read the first two chapters of this book years ago because it was suggested as something I might like. I always thought about this book but I could never remember the name of it but I remembered the girls face on the cover. I had this on my watch list for a while and one day, it was finally in stock so I snatched it right away. I received it in the mail yesterday and I stayed up until 2 am because I could not put this book down. As sickening as the abuse she received was, I just couldn't put it down. I couldn't sleep without knowing how she made it out alive to tell her story. I cant put into words how wonderfully written this book was. I felt sick to my stomach, and some parts I just had to skip pages because I couldn't bear to read what happened. I was crying, as well. If you've been thinking about reading this book - do it.
