While the interpretation of the story is very good, the drawings were ugly. The men’s faces largely looked alike, and also seemed influenced by anima style to a degree. They tended to be dark, scribbly, and hard to interpret.

Puffin Graphics: Dracula (Puffin Graphics (Graphic Novels)) I have never before seen such a superb graphic novel illustrated totally in pen and ink. Any lover of Bram Stoker, lover of pen and ink rendition and graphic novel should have this book in their collection. You will be glued to the book from the very first page. This graphic novel is a 100% adaptation of the benchmark horror novel. When Englishman Jonathan Harker is sent to Transylvania to visit his client, the mysterious Count Dracula, he uncovers the terrifing secret of his host. Dracula is a vampire, an immortal who feeds off the blood of the living. Dracula is moving to England in search of fresh victims to satisfy his blood lust. At the top of the list is Harker's own fiancee, the beautiful Mina Murray. Suddenly Harker and his friends find themselves in a race against sunset to stop Dracula before it's too late...I hope that new readers via the adaptation get enticed to savor Stoker's original work.
