A young, black cat named Ptah faces danger, intrigue, and excitement when a magical urn whisks him back in time to four different time periods in ancient Egypt. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Both of my sons ( and one a reluctant reader) read this book voraciously. They are 10 and 12 years of age and enjoyed tremendously the adventure and intrigue of Ptah's time travel predicament. I read this book myself and was delighted with the whimsical characterizations of Ptah and the fascinating historical details tucked into the narrative. This book should be on the top ten for kids between 9-14!
