This book moves me so much! Each page and picture are evoking so much. The beauty of nature along the Israeli Mediterranean sea coast. Remembering wild birds over my head, many many years ago. Just the same places Gail visited: Maagan Mikhael and its fish ponds teeming with wildlife; not far from the Crocodile (Taninim in Hebrew) River. Deep pain along pure excitement and joy as I walked on the same sandy beach, where she met her death. Murderers coming from the sea, who killed her without any hesitation. Well, just an American Jewish photographer at the wrong time and place. Didn't you know there is a war going there? Blood on the beach. Do the birds remember? I doubt. Gail, your book has the place of honor in my library. I keep reading and reading your book and wondering about your beautiful pictures. Sometimes I do dream of you, or is it just your soul or ghost right by the beach slowly walking ? I recommend this book with all my heart. You will get inspired, I promise. But please pray for Gail!
Beautiful!

Beautifully illustrated verses with pictures of Israel. I found newspaper article in my booK that says author was murdered by PLO in 1978. She left this as her living legacy of God's word and His land.
