I have the fondest memories of the stories - all to do withscience and invention, questions in a child'smind, and equally preposterous answers,with a spice of humour. Inventions that alwaysgo wrong but everything turns out fine in the end.I read this and all of Branestwam'sbooks in the Cathedral and John ConnonSchool Library, Bombay, India, and itslibrarian Raman was kind enough in makingall the books available.It started me out on my career in science and literature,with a belief that doing science should be fun, and as Feynmanmade clear in "Surely you are joking .."Hunter's humour is Shaw for children, and scienceis delightful like Feynman.It is set in a a strictly British setting - with breaksfor tea and crumpets and perfect English etiquitte!Just like Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll.
