I was not disappointed in this novel at all. I agree it had some Deathlands touches, but not enough to make it seem like an imitation. It had a lot of action and adventure and interesting characters in it. Maybe the main heroes weren't featured as much as they usually are but I really didn't notice it. Brigid, though, who is my favorite character seemed to be short-tempered with Kane throughout most of the book but that was...
