Nice book with a imperfectly CD-ROM

I got this book 2 days ago, indeed there is a lot of useful information in the book, nevertheless, I found the included CD-ROM is maybe a bad format manufactured product.I've check this on Windows 95 and Windows 98 platforms with two CD-ROM drives and one Read-Write drive, there are only 1 readme and 2 directory in the root, the 1st directory is for C version while the 2nd for VB, in the Cversion directory there are only 22 file, 4 *.c, 16 *.bmp, 1 *.res, and 1 *.h. Total size is 269 kb. That's all, that's ALL in a 640MB CD-ROM, period. So when you see "Code is provided in..." and "Examples include annotations that..." at the book description above, don't expect too much.I'm not saying there is no annotation, there are, but from my viewpoint as a programmer, I can just describe the codes are not nicely commented as those were in many other nice book and disc, so use the book, Luke. Why I said the disc is maybe a lemon? since you can's see any file day-time information in the disc with Windows Explorer, that is definitely NOT normal, hey, the book was titled with a "Windows" there, isn't it?

Outstanding Book

This is one of the best books I've ever read. In-depth, comprehensive, and well written. Every one should buy at least three copies. In fact, they'd make excellent Christmas presents....

Outstanding Book

This is one of the best books I've ever read. Comprehensive, In-depth, and well written. A definite "must have" for every programmer or analyst. In fact, you should buy two or three copies, as well as a few for the immediate family. Hey, they'd even make great Christmas gifts!
