A ten-year-old boy with Down syndrome named PRIMO experienced being isolated by children because of his disability. He grew up with tarsiers who became his friends. Their names are TARSI, TARBI, TAMI, TABU and TANCER. They call him PRI, short for Primo, and he calls them MATES. Primo's parents call his mates KIDS and treat them like family. On the island where Primo and his parents live. There is a geological formation of over 1200 hills. Many have yet to be discovered or seen. The hills are green. During the dry season they turn brown and are known as the chocolate hills. Many people have tried to find the undiscovered hills. Unfortunately, they did not return to their families; they disappeared without a trace. PRIMO has always been bullied by some children. He is determined to change the way others treat him. He comes up with the idea of searching for the missing people. He wants to prove that his disabilities are not a burden to accomplish a task. He believes that if he can help or serve the community, he will be accepted by society. His MATES volunteer to join him. They embark on a quest without considering the adversity they will face.
