Great addition to your preserving livrary. Some unique recipes.

I've bought zillions of books on canning and preserving, and have been disappointed that most now focus more on pretty pictures and gourmet recipes than useful food preservation. This book is packed with practical information on freezing, canning, and root cellaring almost anything you might ever come across, from eel to turnip greens. There's no recipes for Christmas gifts, just plain food for those who preserve to eat.
