Kanako Inuki-sensei's works are usually very good. I like this series a lot better than "School Zone" (which was also pretty good), because it doesn't feel quite as rushed and/or confusing. I think that the one thing that I really like about this one particular artist's style is that she really knows how to make a smooth transition from cartoon-ish (almost cutesy) to grotesque without making things awkward. Very nice! Just because I enjoyed this series, it doesn't mean that my opinion is the "end all, tell all". Some people may feel differently about it but still, I suggest at least giving it a try. If you're looking for some in-depth, captivating, highly evolved story, then you'll be disappointed in this series. But if you're looking for something light and enjoyable, then I recommend giving "Presents" a try.
