The Prentice Hall Anthology of Women's Literature

The collection of women writing about women's lives informs, entertains and encourages. What a good book to have lying around to be picked up whenever one wants to visit another woman to see how life is going for her. The selections are timeless and the combinations endless. Even after someone has read the book cover to cover, one can reread pieces and make new connections. Those who take the time to explore the lives of others will definitely have enriched their lifetimes. What a joy: This rich delicacy is calory free. It's also Emily Dickinson free and that omission displeases me; and explains why I gave the book only 4 stars.
