Can a City Girl Find Romance in the West

When Casey Allen inherited the small spread from her mother's godfather Zack, it was a godsend. A place without a mortgage where she could raise her son Robbie. Recently widowed after her husband died of a brain tumor, she was almost broke because of the medical bills. The only catch, old Zack Morrow left a letter for her. He wanted her to save and protect the groundhogs on the land, something Cassie was more that willing to do. But when Matt Reilly, the owner of the ranch that bordered her land, showed up at her door complaining about the ground hogs, it seems they burrow below the surface making it unsafe for horses and cattle, Casey knows she has a problem on her hands. She's instantly attracted to Matt and she can tell the feeling is mutual, but she can't kill the ground hogs. And there you have the basis for this delightful, but too short romance. We have conflict, wonderful characters that we like as soon as we meet them and very fine writing. This is a story everybody will enjoy.
