Possibles

Possibles is a look in to the life of an African American (Sheppy) girl who had recently lost her father of cancer. They live in a small southern town. Sheppy's family is short on money. Her mother works at a laundry mat and is always at work. So Sheppy decides to get a job working for a woman named Connie Montgomery who has a very badly broken leg and can't walk. Every day she goes and has to help Connie with every thing. One day she upsets Connie and they don't talk for three days. One day when she is getting picked up by her brother (Ranger) who is always neat was covered in sweat, dirt, and blood. The car's headlight was broken. Sheppy was worried. I liked this book because it helps you realize how much you have and some things you have to work for to keep it together.
