If you love the romantic hero !

Go and get this book. The author, Gail Crease, weaves a mystical and romantic tale that truly captivates. The hero, strong, caring, and mysterious is to die for, and the story's setting is as magical--and nautical--as they come. A wonderful writer telling a wonderful story, what more can a reader ask for?

A tale of sea that will warm your heart and soul!

In 1863, Rebecca Lynn Mallory realized that she and her unborn child were going to drown in the Irish Sea. She was willing to give up her life if her child would be saved. A man with deep blue eyes and jet-black hair floating around his head like a halo rescued her and he told her...another time...another place...a promise.Move forward to the present in Milford-by-the Bay, Massachusetts...Chelsea Porter, the first female descendant born of Rebecca, lives the hectic life of a single woman who works too many hours as a successful interior designer. Chelsea has no idea that promise made to and by Rebeeca involves Chelsea's future.Nicolas Demitry aka Nikodemus has been waiting patiently for Chelsea to grow into a woman so she may become his bride. Though Chelsea knows nothing of her upcoming wedding, she is fascinated when she sees Nicolas' painting "Poseidon's Sorrow" hanging in the gallery she helped design and even more taken by him as their eyes meet.Gail Crease writes a very detailed story of Chelsea and Nicolas' evolving relationship. Through Chelsea's discovery of her destiny with Nicolas, she still struggles to accept her part in it. After a tragic accident, both she and Nicolas have to learn how to trust and love each other. Nicolas is the kind of hero we dream of and I will look out at the sea differently from now on.I am hoping that a sequel is written about Lysianassa - Nicolas' close friend who loves him, but realizes that Chelsea is his true love.DON'T MISS THIS BOOK!

Oh, yes!

When a young woman is rescued from drowning by a mysterious sea being, she is bound to a promise that to repay the favor, one of her female descendants will wed the sea god's son, Nicolas. Over a hundred years pass before a woman is born to fulfill the promise. Chelsea is the first female descendant of her great great grandmother, and when the time is right, Nicolas comes to claim his bride. He finds a way to enter her world by posing as an enigmatic artist exhibiting work in her gallery, but it is not his art, but the man himself that wins her heart. Yet, their love comes with a price. Chelsea must willingly give up the life she knows and be reborn into the sea world in order to fulfill the debt made long ago. If she goes unwillingly, she will not survive.***** Fascinating and different, the great flaw in this book is that it should have been longer. This new world intrigues and draws the reader into its pages. The haunted, mysterious hero is one filled with passion and love, and Chelsea is a woman who handles her unbelievable situation and the demands made upon her brilliantly. Both Gothic and modern in tone and feel, we all hope that the potential sequel is not long in coming. ***** Reviewed by Amanda Killgore.

exciting refreshing fantasy romance

In 1863 Rebecca Lynn Mallory sees the ship sailing away from her and thinks that she is going to drown here in the Irish Sea without ever seeing her beloved again. She prays for a miracle not expecting one even as she wonders how that sudden wave washed her off the deck. Thoughts that her unborn child would die too angers Rebecca as she begins to sink into the sea when suddenly The Radiant One saves her life. Poseidon informs his son Nikodemus and Rebecca that due to his son's interference, in another time and place her descendent must marry Nikodemus.A hundred years later, Rebecca's descendent Chelsea Porter recovers from a disastrous relationship, vowing to put men on hold. However, her pledge is quickly shredded when Chelsea meets artist Nicolas Demitry. Nicolas knows he has waited forever or since he saved Rebecca for a chance at love, but will his beloved survive the test of his realm?POSEIDON'S KISS is an exciting refreshing fantasy romance that is at its best when Gail Crease introduces readers to Poseidon's under the sea world. The story line succeeds because the fantasy realm seems authentic as if the author had been there outside her dreams and the lead couple feels darlingly real. Fantasy purists as well as those who delight in a romantic undercoating will relish Ms. Crease's creative novel and demand more trips to the undersea realm.Harriet Klausner
