Political Science Research Methods

If math isn't your strong suit, and you're learning Research Methods/Statistics for Social Science/PoliSci/Public Administration, THIS book makes it about as easy as possible to understand what you're doing and why you're doing it. It does a good job of the "why" in addition to the "how". I am glad my professor chose this book for our MPA program's lower-level Research Methods class. An easy read, even if you have to read it twice to understand mathematical operations (as many of us social science folk do.) :-)

We used this book in my graduate research methods class. Many of the articles are well written and provide a good overview. It is a dry read though
