If you have not lived in the world that Hart D fisher lives in you can not understand it. This book is one of the most haunting books of poetry I have read since Morrison's The Lords And The New Creatures. Hart reaches out and lets you feel his pain. From the start with the poem Candyland I was hooked and could not put it down. The man has true talent. Your heart will bleed for him.
Masterful poetry that will stay with you forever.

Not everyone will appreciate Hart Fisher's work. The pain and anger in each and every page isn't always pretty. But his work has changed my life forever. Anyone who is a fan of Ginnsgerg's "Howl", will enjoy this Book. It shows that the world isn't always a nice place, as demonstraighted in the verse "Candyland". Read his poetry and know pain in it's purest form.
A cathartsis for the reader.

I have never read anything so haunting. Almost every poem gave me chills. Fisher manages to show the anger, pain and depression of losing someone to a senseless death in a way that talks not to your mind and logic, but to your heart and emotions.
