I bought this book for 50 cents at Goodwill so I would have something new to pull out on the airplane. Unlike most board books, it is quite thin and doesn't take much room. My daughter (almost 2 at the time) loved it. She will ask for it over and over. One finger inserted through a hole becomes an elephant trunk or a puppy tail. Two become snail antenae or cow horns. Four together make a good duck wing or fish fin. Fingers pinched together make a chick bill or a fish mouth. I'd like to get her "Play Kitten Play" or see other Amanda Leslie books. It is too bad the "Play" books are out of print. I showed a friend and she wanted one too to give as a present.
