It says right up front that this was a "compilation" of his notes put together by someone hired by his surviving wife and heirs. I have read several books by Harold Robbins and this was a travesty as far as being easy to follow or interesting. I had a difficult time finishing the book and kept loosing track of who was who. Don't waste your time on this one.

Robbins illustrates his characters with all the temptations and emotions a man must face. The Piranhas proves again that Harold Robbins is the best American writer of modern time.
