I loved this book best in the series. It explains how life was back then and how people had to cook and do daily chores. i have read and watched numerous things on this time period and i have to say that this is one of the most in depth books on cooking in this period i have seen. it is very detailed. i have yet to try all the recipes but my kids LOVE the cornmeal dumpling recipe. Overall. . .Love the recipes, is very easy to follow and understand, very informational.
