Pilgrim's Progress: A Spiritual Guide for the Holy Land Traveler

This is a great quick read devotional book on the Christian holy sites in Israel. I purchased several travel books but this one became my favorite because although it does not offer extensive details, it gives a quick biblical/historical reference along with a devotional thought which helped my travels to stay focused as a spiritual pilgrimage. I read it before my visit to Israel, on the bus traveling from site to site, at night in my hotel room when I wrote in my journal and since returning home when I shared my experiences with others.
