The book starts with a general introduction about "Body Power", which is a technique based on Pilates and adjusted by the author. Each chapter focusses on a different body part and contains a number of (variations of) known & quite original exercises. Each exercise is accompanied by a precise description and a large photo. Although the descriptions are quite clear, I would have liked a stepwise description and/or more than one photo per exercise (although some exercises are accompanied by more photos).The book ends with special exercise programs for people who have e.g. back problems or who sit behind a desk all day.My general impression is that this is a good book full of usefull exercises. The author seems to have lots of experience (which lead to comments & tips each exercises). She stresses the importance of correct breathing and this really makes a difference. If you're looking for a book to improve a specific part of your body: this should be a good buy. If you're looking for a daily program, you'd have to design it yourself, taking exercises from different chapters.
