Speaking to every child who has ever been lost, this warmly illustrated book tells the story of young Piglet, who has lost her mama. All of the other mothers in the barnyard offer to help, but little Piglet is determined to find her mama. Ideal for Mother's Day. Full color.
My three-year-old found this at our local library and, even though we only had it couple weeks, she still talks about it! It is a simple book with cute pictures, but perfect for any little "piggies" who are deeply attached to their mommies. The refrain of "But piglet wanted his mommy" is sweet and true.

While you shouldn't be tricked into buying a book by the cover, this one did for me! The illustration on the front of the two cute pigs was just too adorable to pass up. The story is about a Piglet looking for her Mama and while she finds other animal Mamas on her search, they just aren't HER Mama. Heartwarming bedtime tale.
