This Barnes & Noble College Outline of Physical Chemistry is an out-of-print, classic, compact summary of all the essentials of an introductory course with a rich variety of review questions and problems. Anyone interested in energy systems has got to appreciate the chapters on Phase Diagrams, Chemical Kinetics, and Electromotive Force with their many illustrative diagrams. I recommend the text as a great starting point or as a reference when things get a little sticky and you need to let the diagrams dance in your head.
