Good read for young people

as a psychologist specialising in phobias, I found this book initially very disappointing. Then to my ignorance I discovered it had been written for young people e.g. adolescents. Taking this into account, I found it very useful and straight to the point. It would make a great resource for therapists treating young people. I also think it would be good for adults who don't want to read mountains of information, but instead want the facts and solutions quickly. It definately provides this. Each chapter is concise, and offers a variety of helpful solutions. If you are looking for an accademic based book to broaden you knowledge on phobias, then this isn't the book for you. However, if you want a quick read giving a simple though thorough review of phobias, then this book is a must. It would also be good for therapists who want to brush up on their knowledge about phobias. Anthony Gunn Psychologist & author of Fear Is Power: Turn Your Fears Into Success
