In this tale Colonel B. Bunny decided that Peter Cottontail should replace him as Chief Easter Bunny. However, a nasty bunn named Irontail wanted the job as well and challeneged Peter to a contest to see who could deliver the most eggs. Peter, in his pride was sure that he would win so he threw a big party the night before and didn't get up in time to deliver his eggs and so he lost. Discouraged he leaves April Valley and finds himself in the Garden of Surprises with a new friend Mr. Sassafrass. This new friend happens to have a yesterday mobile that just might help Peter make everything right. This is such a fun story, with a lesson about pride and ingenuity. Recommended. Shirley Johnson
