The book has both in text definitions, definitions bulleted to the side and definitions in the back of the book which I found to be quite helpful. Very easy to reference.
Needed for a Class

I needed this book for a Psychology class, It's actually very interesting and well written. The author actually has a voice, as opposed to being a plainly scientific text.

This book is deceptively few pages. It is very dense in subject matter. It is very good and well written. It isn't always as well organized as I would like, but the major psychological theories of personality are described well with plenty of illustrative examples mostly from real world current events or actual case studies. The biographical material about various theorists is also enlightening. I rate it excellent!
