Peculiar in a Good Way

I love the cover of this book!! The rest of it is useful. The order of the arrow is a concise description of the struggles I have in my life. Occasionally I am down, most of the time I flat line, and sometimes I am heading upward to the next level. She does use some of the same stories from her previous book "Love is a Verb", but I won't hold it against her. It is a great read for a nice pick-me-up.

PECULIAR By Mary Ellen Edmunds This book is an easy read. She writes like she is sitting at your kitchen table and having a pleasant conversation. She shows you how to look at gospel principals in new ways. She includes exercises to view your progress and where you may need to improve. My favorite was the Order of the Arrow. These would also be great for a Fireside, Sunday School class or Family Home Evening. The most important lesson I learned is that I'm not perfect, but all the Lord asks is that I keep trying and not merely enduring. Deborah Ledgerwood
